This lovely country home, which we call here a « mas », is located in the heart of the upper Provence region, at the border line between the hills and the low lands, not far from the cities of Orange, Vaison la Romaine and Carpentras. This is mostly the wine growing region of “Côtes du Rhône”, with delicious full-bodied productions.
This charming apartment is part of a typical Provence stone ranch, which we call here a “mas”. It overlooks a garden, in the South West direction.
It offers a living room with a kitchen on one side. And two bed-rooms: the first one with a 160 cm (63”) bed; and the other one with 140 cm (55”) bed. Bath-room with toilets.
Bed sheets are also available.

The shopping area is very close. Mountain biking, Cycling, Tennis courts, swimming in the rivers, and hiking in the hills; opportunities are also close-by: you are not far from Mont Ventoux, and the little mountain range “Dentelles de Montmirail” has quite a reputation as a site for mountain climbing. The next golf course is about 6 miles away. A swimming pool is also available on the owners’ estate, next door.
The area is world famous for its middle-ages, as well as Roman period remnants. Vaison la Romaine, 10 minutes away, is the largest such site in France. It also organizes an excellent dance festival in summer time, in the 2,000 year old Roman theatre. Plenty to see and enjoy while staying in this house.
